Overhead Crane

Our portable gantry crane with trolley has a rated capacity of 1 Ton, and is adjustable in height from 79 to 108 inches under the upper crossbeam. It has a span of 96 inches between uprights, wide enough to span a full-size pickup. It can also be taken down into three sections for storage and transport. The trolley assembly runs above the crossbeam and allows for side-to-side movement, critical in lining up motors during engine installations.

The crane in the photo is our prototype unit, which is non-adjustable. During fabrication, we were more concerned with clearance for the overhead lights than anything else, and when completed we realized we couldn't get it out the door. This minor design oversight has been corrected with the adjustability now present.
